Bug reports about a specific file are the most useful thing you can send.

A file will not convert

The converter tries to say what is wrong rather than fail vaguely, so start with the message it gave you. If it is not clear, the details worth including are:

• The exact message on the page.
• The source format, and what wrote the file if you know (scanner, CAD package, exporter).
• Its size, and roughly how many vertices and faces.
• Your browser and operating system.

Please do not send the file itself unless you are asked and it is yours to share — the whole point of this site is that your files stay on your machine.

Requesting a format

Say which direction you need and what you are doing with the result. A format that only needs reading is a much smaller job than one that needs writing, and knowing the use case decides which attributes have to survive.

Email hello@threedconvert.com. It is a small project run in spare time, so a reply may take a few days.

Privacy

Anything you send by email is covered by the privacy policy. Conversion itself sends nothing anywhere: it runs entirely in your browser.
